Feed store won’t reopen after fire

The cause of a fire that destroyed a 1920s-era building in downtown Mexia remains unclear, according to the owner and fire officials.

Wortham City Council authorized the opening of a new bank account during its Tuesday, Nov. 12, meeting to prevent fraudulent activity.
